Suddenly, the flower felt unfamiliar and unknown, as though uprooted from her memories and transported to a distant land. That changed when, one morning, she wandered into the park and chanced upon a hibiscus shrub in bloom. Suddenly, it felt as though she had been transported to the days of her youth. No matter what name she addressed it by, the plant was still as comforting, as nurturing. And for that, she was grateful.
